So i did go in bc it was my 1st time to that one..but been to the one on the North side of town..it had a little smell in there,maybe it's just me,but my son came walk in to see why it was taking a little long bc i had already placed orders on my way there,and he made a face that let me know,lol but they were alot of older people in there,they were eating and talking and a few made conversations with me and said they been here and enjoys their food,the food was quite good! There are so many choices to choose from! 3 or 4 tenders with fried shrimp rice and a shrimp &fish combo..oh if you do not like the spice ask for no season or a little on tenders or shrimps..they cook it how you perfer and it will still have a taste,trust!
Trying to find what to order is probably the worst part of the whole experience because it's all SO GOOD. I was first introduced to Kevin's Seafood with a piece of fried catfish and let me tell you- I was hooked. Everything is fried to perfection, seasoned to a T, and the portion sizes??? A large seafood platter is enough for 2 meals: 2 pieces of fish, 10 shrimp, an unhealthy amount of fries (but whi complains about that really?)and it's only 10.99. And the burgers are so mouthwatering. They definitely have a kick -but you can request less spice if you'd like- and they are so big you feel like you might have to tap out but you've come too far to quit now. Plus the burger alone is about 7 I mean you cant beat that quality for the price. By the time we're done with the burgers we usually don't have room for the fries. The fried rice is also a great alternative to the fries in each platter. If you haven't gone yet- YOU HAVE TO GO ASAP. And the staff is always very friendly.
We stopped in for lunch. This place was recommended to us by another truck driver. The staff was friendly. Food was made after order was placed. Portions were plenty!! I got the combination Lo Mein plate. It was enough food to last me awhile!! The seasoning on the shrimp and chicken were good. There was a hint of spice, but not overwhelming. My husband got the fried catfish plate. He said it was very good. Seasoned just right. We will be back.
Always love us some Kevin's. Has a great variety for everyone. And always tastes great. And I love that it comes in a Togo box that way no waste eat what you want close it and go. Because you get so much food I can never eat it all. Staff is great always.
I ordered a shrimp salad and there were so many shrimps on top, and it was literally pushing the top off the box. The salad was enough for three meals.. The girl at the counter was a little bit rude, but the food was really good so all in all it was a good experience
4/2/24: This was my first visit to Kevin's! Turns out I love it. In fact, Kevin's is on my top 5 meal locations for the area! I decided on the seafood platter (full) choice! Shrimp, fish, fried rice, bread, and opted for the salad and a fountain drink. I dined in, and it was comfortable and clean! The food was excellent enough so that Kevin's made my top 5 meal locations!! I definitely recommend Kevin's, and I will be back for another menu choice! 5/20/25: Stopped in for lunch, and it was delicious! Service was great for a lunchtime meal it was fat!
If you're craving a delightful seafood experience, Kevin’s Seafood is the place to be! The fried shrimp with shrimp fried rice is a standout, but truthfully, anything you order is fantastic. The service is awesome, with friendly staff especially Anacin, and the prices are reasonable. Dive into quality food today!
LG. Seafood platter had 12 shrimp and 2 catfish filets with sm salad and either fried rice or French fries. Very good and filling. Reasonably priced for the amount of food. Next time I'll order the small. Going back that's for sure.
